I have lived in the Tulsa area all of my life. I received an accounting degree from OSU Okmulgee in 1975 and started working for Atlantic Richfield in August of 1975. I have worked in the oil and gas industry for 43 years, and the last 22 years for Unit Petroleum Company. My wife, Kevin, and I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
In my early oil patch days I heard stories about Bucky but didn’t become good friends with him until the mid-90’s. When Bucky went to work for Red Man Pipe and Supply I remember him telling me that I was his first sale with Red Man. Everywhere we went together, whether it was company functions or tailgating, Bucky was always the bright light at each and every event. It has been a real privilege and pleasure to participate in this charity event in Bucky’s honor!
