Raised in southern Oklahoma, in the small town of Wilson. I was active in sports and the boy scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle. I attended College at ECU in Ada where I played basketball and ran track.
After college, I worked in the oil and gas industry. However, when oil prices dropped in the mid 80’s I joined the Hyponex Corporation as Plant manager and new plant construction manager for 9 years.
Afterwards I moved onto to Seneca Earth Covers. A bulk landscape and nursery products company, based in Seneca IL.
Next came Novabrik Midamerica for the next 16 years in Sikeston, Missouri. I returned home to Oklahoma in 2011 where I was Chief Operations Officer at Garrett Trucking. In September of 2017 Tenaris Global purchased Garrett LLC and I accepted the role of Local Divisional Manager.
I have served on committees for the Tennessee Tombigbee waterway, the U S Masonry Council, the Alabama Golf Course Superintendents Association. I’ve chaired the Missouri Concrete Masonry Council and now serve on the Board of the OKC Pipeliners Club.
I am a founding member of The Bucky Foundation.
